Position Schedule: (16 HOUR DOUBLE SHIFT - ONCE A WEEK)

Sunday: 4:00 - 11:59PM

Monday: 12:00 - 8:00 AM

Starting Pay: LISTED BELOW

Position Overview:

The Direct Support Professional (DSP) is a critical role within 360 Total Care, dedicated to supporting the daily and comprehensive needs of individuals with developmental disabilities. This position operates in a residential setting, facilitating community integration and ensuring all care provided aligns with the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities' regulations. DSPs are committed to enhancing client independence and quality of life while adhering to the mission and values of 360 Total Care.

Client Support and Care

Community Integration and Transportation

ISP Compliance and Team Collaboration

Documentation, Reporting, and Compliance

Medication and Health Management

Personal Hygiene and Environmental Maintenance

Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) and Punctuality

Requirements:

Required Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent; further education in healthcare or social services preferred.

Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills; a compassionate approach and patience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Prior experience in a caregiving or residential support role, especially in a developmental disability setting.

Certifications: Valid driver’s license; CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Physical and Mental Demands:

Ability to perform physical tasks required for client care and household maintenance.

Emotional resilience to handle potentially challenging situations.

Work Environment:

The role involves working in residential settings and participating in community activities, requiring flexible hours and local travel.
