Job Description
We are seeking dedicated Assemblers for both first and second shifts.
Responsibilities
Assemble sub-components and finished products within the facility using basic product and process knowledge.
Use hand and power tools to assemble and fit metal products.
Operate hand and power tools, as well as overhead cranes, to build equipment
Engage in fast-paced production and assembly work.
Lift 60 lbs or more to fit products together.
Collaborate with a team member to fulfill daily product orders.
Perform tasks that require lifting, climbing, standing, walking, and extending arms for extended periods.Essential Skills
Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
Ability to read assembly drawings and determine parts and quantities needed.
Experience operating overhead cranes.
Understanding of schematics, tape measures, mechanical principles, and blueprints.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED is required upon permanent conversion. A company-funded GED program is available.
Physical ability to lift 50 lbs or more independently.
Capability to regularly walk, sit, and reach for extended periods.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a large, clean, and organized manufacturing floor with clearly labeled sections based on materials and production. The first shift operates from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with potential overtime starting at 5 AM. The second shift runs from 2 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime extending to 12:30 PM. Must be available for some overtime on Saturday mornings.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Virginia.Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.75/hr.
