Java Developer

Salary: $90,000-$120,000

This Java Developer role requires experience with full-stack development including integrating various frameworks and technologies such as the Spring Framework, SpringBoot, Hibernate, JSP’s, Maven, or similar technologies.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Contributes to the development and maintenance of Java web applications.

Maintenance of SOAP web services.

Perform code analysis, debugging, and troubleshooting.

Ensure that all deliverables developed are high quality, thoroughly tested, and appropriately documented, including conducting unit testing and comprehensive functional testing.

Work with the team to keep standard procedures, how-to guides, and other team documentation updated.

Required Qualifications:

2+ years of full-stack Java web application development.

Experience implementing Java frameworks such as Spring MVC.

Solid understanding of core Java design patterns.

Experience writing SQL queries especially with data analysis for troubleshooting.

Experience using version control systems such as Git.

Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Mathematics.

Ability to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance.

Desired Qualifications:

Experience implementing and maintaining Java-web services, especially using SOAP.

Azure DevOps experience.

Experience with C#, .NET, and Python.

Experience with Maven for Java application build and deployment.

Experience with unit and integration testing.

Experience with secure programming practices, including remediating findings of automated code analyzers such as Fortify.
