Position Title:

Administrative Assistant, HSE

Pay Rate:

$60,000 - $70,000

Multiple factors, including Individual experience, skills and abilities will determine where an employee is ultimately placed in the pay range.

The Job You Will Perform:

The administrative assistant provides support primarily to the Vice President of Health, Safety and Environment

Manage the vice president’s internal and external schedules

Coordinate Telepresence conference calls and meetings

Maintain the schedule for the Health, Safety and Environment Lead Team

Prepare the appropriate material for internal and external meeting

Manage special projects as directed

Compose correspondence, communications plans, and presentation as requested

Make travel arrangements for the vice president and other HSE leaders

Maintain the HSE organizational chart

Process invoices, monitor vendor payments and run monthly budget reports

Assist with the preparation of the annual budget

Screen telephone calls and visitors to ensure important and urgent matters are addressed

Process expense reports utilizing an on-line system

Represent the department with other administrative assistants

Maintain appropriate e-mail distribution lists

The Skills You Will Bring:

Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree preferred

Minimum of five years administrative support experience

Advanced Microsoft Office skills required

Required key competencies include: business acumen, comfort around higher management, composure, ethics and values, verbal and written communications, interpersonal savvy, listening, organizing, planning, process management, self-development and time management
