PrideStaff is currently seeking an Order Processing Associate for our client located in Irwindale, CA. This is a full-time, contract to permanent position with opportunity to grow. Our client has great benefits and a profit-sharing plan. Please see job requirements below to be considered.
Pay Rate: $20 to $21.00
Shift: Monday - Friday, 8am to 4:30pm Department: Order Processing:
An Order Processing Associate is responsible for taking purchase orders from
customers or salesperson and accurately processing them in the company's computer systems. The position requires a positive attitude and the ability to manage time
sensitive processes on a daily basis. It involves heavy phone and email correspondence
with customers, vendors, and company team members. Training is provided by the
department manager and team members for this position.
Responsibilities:
Enter orders into the company's ERP system
Track orders through ERP and the Warehouse, ensure accuracy and address
issues in the order- to-shipment process
Work closely with Sales, Warehouse, and Transportation teams to maintain order
accuracy and resolve any questions to avoid process delays
Create invoices when orders have been fulfilled, review for accuracy, and add
appropriate line- item charges and discounts
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED is required. AA degree preferred
English proficiency is required, Korean proficiency is preferred
Strong customer service skills are required (clear articulate communication,
responsiveness, timeliness, strong time management skills, and adaptability)
Computer Skills: strong typing ability, experience with MS Office Suite (Excel) is
required
Ability to proactively learn new systems
Experience with ERP, WMS, and OMS systems is preferred
Previous experience working in an office environment is preferred
Experience booking or procuring freight is a plus
Experience with routing systems/software is a plus
Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $20.00 - $21.00 Per Hour
