Position: Hardware Test Technician
Location: Bradenton, FL

JD:
· This position is responsible for performing hardware and agency testing of electronic hardware systems and associated products
· Support the installation, setup, and configuration of test infrastructure, components, and operating systems.
· Support the development and execution of test fixtures and automation scripts for hardware validation.
· Ensure test environments are properly configured and available for each project as scheduled
· Conduct tests in accordance with industry standards, including UL.. FM, and other regulatory requirements Utilize digital multimeters (DMM), oscilloscopes, signal gencrators, spectrum analyzers, etc. for validation and compliance testing.
· Execute defined test procedures and update test cases as needed to align with hardware and ageney testing requirements.
· Document, track, and report defects, ensuring issues are fully characterized and reproducible.
· Provide technical documentation and training related to hardware and agency compliance testing.
· Receive on-the-job training to understand RF test equipment such as spectrum analyzers, signal generators.
· Participate in special projects and perform other duties as required.
Knowledge and Skills:
· 5+ years of technical experience or a 2-year technical training program or associate's degree preferred..
· AutoCAD, its nice to have experience with CAD
· Basic knowledge of RF principles is a plus.
· Ability to design and document test fixtures and setups.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Visio.
· Experience with drawing software such as AutoCAD is a plus. ?7 Test fixtures
· Experience with electrical and IP network wiring is a plus.
· Good communication and teamwork abilities.
· Experience with UL, FCC, and other agency testing is a plus.
· Experience with electrical and IP network wiring is a plus.
· Ability to read schematics, layout drawings, and follow test procedures.
· Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

· Ability to stand, bend, and lift (less than 50 Ibs.) for extended periods of time.
· Must be willing to work in Bradenton, FL.
· Must be 18 years of older.
· Must be willing to take a drug test and submit to a background investigation as part of the selection process.
· Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States
· Prior experience in a lab or test environment is a plus.
