The Role
We’re looking for a Founding Engineer to tackle the hardest problems in distributed computing and performance optimization. You’ll design and build core components of our Layer 1 blockchain spanning cryptography/consensus/networking and more, focused on maximizing throughput on commodity hardware.
Responsibilities
Design and implement performance-critical subsystems in C
Develop robust cryptographic, consensus, and networking components
Build systems with strong process isolation and fault tolerance
Create benchmarking tools and performance testing frameworks
Technical Qualifications
Advanced skills in C, C++, or Rust with an emphasis on low-level performance optimization
Deep knowledge of CPU architecture, memory systems, and optimization techniques
Strong understanding of distributed systems and consensus algorithms
Experience with high-performance networking and protocol design
