Senior Structural Engineer

Job Description

Our Client is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer with a valid PE licensed registered in the State of GA and/or SC for its Augusta, GA or Charleston, SC location. The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, hold a current PE license, and a minimum of 10 years’ experience in managing structural engineering projects with a strong knowledge in federal, state, and local regulatory and permitting requirements.

Applicants must be familiar with the design and analysis of various materials to include, but not limited to steel, stainless steel, aluminum, iron, concrete, precast concrete, and timber. Occasional regional travel and the ability to work nonstandard hours to support project needs are required. Current Multi-State Professional Engineering (PE) Licensure in GA, SC, NC, FL, and AL preferred.

This role will manage simple and complex analysis, design and handle the documentation of various structures and focus on buildings, foundations, parking structures, retaining walls, slabs, structure replacements, while conducting field investigations and construction phase observationsCompany Description
