We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our hotel team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing a safe, comfortable environment for our guests and staff. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in building maintenance, with a strong focus on customer service and teamwork.Key Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections of hotel premises and equipment to identify maintenance needs.

Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to a defined schedule.

Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests from guests and staff.

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all maintenance activities and repairs.

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety regulations and procedures.

Assist with set-up and tear-down for events and meetings as needed.

Oversee and coordinate tasks performed by external contractors.

Manage inventory of tools, equipment, and supplies, ensuring adequate stock for operations.

Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe to maintain operational efficiency.Qualifications

A high school diploma or equivalent; technical school training is preferred.

Proven experience in building maintenance, ideally in a hotel or similar setting.

Strong working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.

Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

The capability to lift and move heavy objects and handle physical tasks.

Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.

Basic computer literacy for accurate record-keeping.

A valid drivers license may be required.Work Schedule
