Salary:
The Event & Sale Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning and catering operations. This includes coordinating with clients, managing staff, ensuring that events run smoothly, and maintaining the highest standards of service. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills to deliver exceptional experiences for all events.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Planning & Coordination:
Meet with clients to understand event needs, preferences, and expectations.
Develop and implement event timelines and schedules.
Coordinate with vendors (e.g., florists, entertainment, AV technicians) to ensure all event needs are met.
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown to ensure the event is conducted seamlessly.
Catering Management:
Manage the catering aspect of events, including menu planning, food and beverage selection, and presentation.
Ensure the highest standards of quality and safety in food handling and service.
Supervise kitchen and catering staff to ensure efficient operations.
Team Leadership:
Lead and train event staff and catering personnel to deliver outstanding service.
Manage staffing schedules and delegate responsibilities effectively during events.
Foster a positive, professional working environment.
Budgeting & Cost Control:
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring that events stay within financial constraints.
Negotiate with vendors and suppliers to secure competitive rates while maintaining high-quality services.
Handle payment processing and invoicing for clients.
Customer Service:
Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
Resolve any issues that arise during events to ensure client satisfaction.
Marketing & Sales Support:
Assist in promoting event services to potential clients, including responding to inquiries and providing detailed proposals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in hospitality, Event Management, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience in event planning, catering, or hospitality management.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to [insert weight, if applicable].

Work Environment:
