Network Engineer

JOB SUMMARY:

BrightRidge Broadband is seeking a motivated Network Engineer to join our growing team. In role, you'll support the design, configuration, and maintenance of our fiber-optic, data, and telephony networks that powers our industry leading Broadband services. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and contribute to maintaining reliable, high-speed broadband service across the region.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support Voice and Data network operations

Install, configure, and maintain PON, Layer-2 switching, and Layer-3 routing

Troubleshoot Tier I/II network issues and customer escalations

Collaborate with vendors, customers, and internal teams

Document network configurations and maintain system records

Assist with equipment upgrades and field coordination

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or related field (Bachelor's a plus)

1+ year experience in voice/data communications or network support

Strong knowledge of OSI networking layers, Ethernet, LAN/WAN, and VoIP

Familiarity with Calix PON, Juniper switches/routers preferred
