Do you have Machine Operator experience?! If you do, we're searching for you! Our client-company is in need of a Machine Operator in Extrusion for their facility located in the Millville, NJ area.

As a Machine Operator in Extrusion you are responsible for running equipment that shapes raw materials (like plastic resins, waxes, and additives) into finished products typically through a heating and molding process called extrusion.In simple terms, will be operating a big, industrial version of a Play-Doh machine heating raw material until it's soft, pushing it through a shaped mold (die), then cutting and cooling it into usable parts.

Job Description:

Set up the extrusion line: Load raw materials into the hopper, check the die (mold) is properly installed, and configure machine settings (temperature, speed, pressure).

Monitor the process: Ensure the material is heating and flowing correctly through the extruder. Watch for consistent shape, size, and quality as the material exits the die.

Quality control: Inspect finished pieces (e.g. fence components) for defects like warping, bubbles, or incorrect cuts.

Adjust as needed: Fine-tune machine settings during the run to maintain quality and efficiency.

Maintenance & safety: Keep the line clean, perform basic maintenance, and follow safety procedures to avoid accidents or material waste.

Job Requirements:

Previous experience working as a machine operator

Ability to work 12 hour shift

Hours & Salary:

Shifts: 7am-7pm Day Shift

7pm-7am Night Shift

Hourly rate: $18-$20 depending on shift
