Sr. Electrical Engineer

Job Description

Aquinas Consulting is currently looking to fill a Senior Electrical Engineer job in Manchester, NH. In this role, you will work as part of a multidisciplinary R&D team to design and develop innovative embedded circuit board solutions for state-of-the-art medical devices. You will be responsible for schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging, and system integration—taking electrical designs from concept through to production.

Senior Electrical Engineer Job responsibilities:

Design and develop mixed-signal circuit boards, manage schematic creation, and oversee PCB layout and design reviews

Perform hands-on testing, failure analysis, and development of test fixtures for product and production validation

Create detailed electrical documentation including diagrams, design descriptions, and test procedures

Collaborate with mechanical, software, controls, and systems engineers to drive full-system integration

Manage external design partners and support rapid development cycles across multiple projects

Qualifications:

BS in Electrical Engineering required

Five or more years of experience in developing complex electro-mechanical devices

Hands-on experience designing schematics and PCBs (Altium preferred)

Proficient with electrical test equipment and simulation tools

Experience with embedded C/C++ and familiarity with standards such as IEC 60601-1 or ISO 13485 a plus

Knowledge of RF design, sensor development, or analytical software (MATLAB, Python, LabView) is desirable
