Compensation range for onsite WA applicants is $30.38/hour. All applicants are welcome to apply.

Responsibilities
Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Prepare items to be shipped checking to sure that items match the packing slip.
Perform a final quality control check of all parts before shipping to the customer.
Package, protect and box items to be shipped.
Maintain understanding of all shipping information and regulations.
Package up support parts in boxes for large shipments.
Assist in crating and securing large machines and equipment.
Follow up on shipments to confirm arrival date.
Receive parts into the ERP system within 2 hours of receipt.
Issue parts from inventory per ERP Pick List.
Organize and maintain Job Carts, parts storage bins and shelves.
Bag and label completed spare parts going into inventory add to inventory count.
Process returns to vendors. (for credit/repair/evaluation/replacement/etc.)
Occasionally assemble spare parts.
Assist supply chain by managing inventory and follow up on open purchase orders.
Acquire pricing and availability (lead time) information from assigned vendors.
Assist with problem-solving that relates to Purchasing.
Promptly update AST's ERP system when new information is acquired.
Effectively communicate new information to appropriate AST personnel.
Use small hand tools to build shipping crates.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED, plus 1 year of experience in shipping, receiving, and/or purchasing.
• Understand Microsoft Excel, Word, and MRP System.
• Experience in a made to order, engineered to order manufacturing environment a plus.
• Forklift, Scissor Lift, and Crane certified, or ability to get certified.
• Quality conscious with the ability to meet productivity goals.
• Self-motivated, energetic, dependable, honest, and thorough.
• Eager to cooperate with others with good interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance required.
• Ability to sit or stand continuously for up to 8 hours per day required.
• Ability to bend, squat, kneel and reach out and above shoulders required.
• Ability to work overtime including weekends to meet customer deadlines as required.
• Ability to safely use ladders and multilevel work platforms.
