Machinist/Grinder

Lingo Staffing is Now hiring for Grinder/ Machinist in Twinsburg, OH Hours: 7am to 3:30pmDays: Monday to Friday (occasional OT required)Pay: $19 + Transferrable Experience required Machinists set up and operate a variety of Machine tools to produce precision metal parts, fixtures, and tools. Machinists typically do the following:

Work from blueprints, sketches, or broken parts

Calculate dimensions using measuring instruments

Install, align, secure, and adjust cutting tools and workpieces

Monitor the feed and speed of machines

Turn, mill, drill, shape, and machine parts to specifications or samples

Measure, examine, and test completed products for defects

Deburr all surfaces of parts or products to ensure that they conform to specifications ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ensure operation of equipment by performing preventative maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, trouble shooting malfunctions, calling for repair if necessary.

Provide care for tools and equipment by adjusting, cleaning and returning tools to their correct place daily.

Optimize production by preparing for next job, performing secondary work such as deburring, performing any necessary handwork, organizing and cleaning area while machine is in operation.

Wipe down outside of machine and clean inside of machine on a daily basis.

Other duties as requested ADDITIONAL JOB DUTIES:

After following directions of shop traveler, complete the shop traveler with all hours worked on customer's parts. Ensure that shop traveler is completed fully and returned to supervisor for signature.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet conditions, is constantly working near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electric shock and vibration.
