Position Criteria
We are seeking skilled and experienced Motor Mechanics with at least three years of post-trade experience. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
-Conducting routine inspections and diagnostics to assess vehicle issues
-Performing essential repairs and maintenance, including engines, brakes, and electrical systems
-Using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve complex problems
-Following manufacturer guidelines and industry standards to ensure service quality
-Maintaining accurate records of all repairs and service work.
-Staying informed about the latest developments in automotive technology.
-Communicating clearly with clients and explaining repair work as needed.
-Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized workspace in line with safety procedures.
-Collaborating with service advisors and fellow technicians to ensure efficient workflow.
-Participating in ongoing training and professional development.
-Mentoring and supporting apprentices and junior technicians.
-Assisting manufacturers with vehicle-specific issues when required.
-Working closely with service and parts departments to ensure smooth operations.
Requirements:
-Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
-Experience with any of the listed vehicle brands is advantageous but not essential.
-Strong attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills.
-A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to take on new challenges.
-Experience diagnosing engine and electrical faults is preferred but not mandatory.
