Job Summary:

Wise Staffing Group is seeking a highly skilled Network Segmentation Engineer to lead the strategy, automation, and optimization of network segmentation across Cisco ACI and VMware NSX platforms. This role plays a key part in strengthening security, streamlining operations, and enhancing network performance across complex environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with security and compliance teams to design segmentation strategies that reduce attack surfaces and improve security posture.

Automate segmentation and security policy deployment using tools like Ansible, NetBrain, and Python.

Integrate segmentation into CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native architectures alongside DevOps and engineering teams.

Continuously monitor network performance using Cisco ACI and VMware NSX tools, identifying and resolving bottlenecks.

Work cross-functionally with Network, Security, and Cloud teams to align segmentation efforts.

Maintain thorough documentation of configurations, policies, and procedures.

Provide stakeholders with regular updates on segmentation projects, network performance, and security.
