We are an LED lighting Manufacturer, we design, machine and assemble our products in-house and on-site at our
Manufacturing facility in Clearwater, FL.
We have three openings in the areas of: Electronics assembly (soldeing); mechanical or general assembly (final assembly) and Housings assembly.
Job Duties include, but not limited to:
Read and follow work order and assembly instructions / schematics to correctly assemble components for each order.
Properly silicone, screw and solder components to avoid burning, cracking or damaging components.
Assembly requires riveting using a compressed air rivet gun, siliconing parts, twisting on parts, labeling correctly, cleaning finished products and packing safely for shipping.
Speed of assembly and quality of final assemblies is how your performance will be measured - avoid re-work and quality returns.
Observe and follow safety guidelines specific to your work area.
Maintain work space and assigned tools clean and orderly - daily and weekly.
Cross-train and work in all areas of production as workload requires it.
Required experience & qualifications:
Prior experience working in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred.
Experienced using basic hand and power tools.
Soldering certification and experience with low voltage electronic components is preferred (for electronics assembly)
Able to read and follow work orders, wiring diagrams and basic technical drawings.
Good communication and positive attitude.
Physical Demands
Ability to select, lift, carry, and stack product weighing between 15 and 35 pounds. Able to sit or stand at a work station for 8 hours, with breaks while occasionally bending, stooping, and twisting and do repetitive work 2 to 4 hours at a time.
Assembly roles require manual dexterity and constant use of hands to assemble using manual and power tools. Excellent hand/eye coordination to solder small components.
Drug Free Workplace:
We are a Florida Drug Free Workplace. The company requires all employees to complete a pre-employment 10 panel drug screen; employment status will be dependent on ability to pass this screening and partake on a quarterly random screen.
Hours, compensation and benefits:
Monday through Friday, 7am to 4pm, with some flexibility to work overtime when needed based on workload.
