Mechanical Design Engineer - Appleton

The Mechanical Design Engineer in Appleton, WI will be responsible for the design, specification, and testing of automated modified atmosphere packaging machines and systems. This role involves working with flexible film tracking, heat sealing technologies, conveying systems, product handling, and scale systems. You will plan, direct, coordinate, and sometimes perform activities related to the fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical systems in both development and production environments.

Qualifications

5-10 years of related mechanical design experience

Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes in the food industry

Valid driver’s license and ability to travel up to 10%, including internationally
