We are currently searching for a Mainframe support:
Responsibilities:
Provide L3 mainframe support and development assistance within a global financial environment.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, working closely with development and product teams.
Assist users across departments, including Operations, Business, and Engineering teams.
Create automation tools to streamline support processes.
Draft and maintain detailed documentation of incidents, fixes, and product updates.
Communicate clearly and proactively with internal and external users, ensuring timely resolution.
Participate in full SDLC activities on mainframe platforms.
Requirements:
7–10 years of hands-on experience in Mainframe development and support (L2+/L3 readiness).
Strong knowledge of DB2 and SQL for mainframe data management.
Proficient in COBOL – debugging and writing code.
Experience with JCL, CICS, VSAM, and other mainframe tools.
Familiarity with IBM MQ and its integration in mainframe environments.
Prior experience supporting clearing businesses or financial trading platforms.
Understanding of CCP (Central Clearing Party) connectivity and client reporting workflows.
Solid problem-solving skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
High attention to detail with capacity to multitask under pressure.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong business acumen related to global markets and financial reporting.
