Job Title: Material Handler
Job Description
Join our team as a Material Handler, where you will play an essential role in our production operations. You will work a rotating 12-hour shift schedule every ten days, alternating between day shifts (6am to 6pm) and night shifts (6pm to 6am) to support our 24/7 operations.
Responsibilities
Operate and monitor chemical reaction processes to manufacture polymer resins, industrial chemicals, and raw materials.
Monitor equipment using multiple computer screens and perform minor troubleshooting to ensure optimal production and minimal downtime.
Use computers to document data such as shipping and receiving information and manufacturing processes.
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods following customer and chemical specifications.
Work in outside weather conditions as well as in an industrial environment, at heights and in confined spaces.
Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lbs., walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling.
Adhere to all plant health, safety, and environmental guidelines, policies, and procedures while wearing necessary Personal Protection Equipment (PPE).
Meet and exceed production goals within a team environment while maintaining a focus on safety during rotating shift schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Essential Skills
High school diploma or GED.
One year or more of experience in an industrial, warehouse, military, farming, construction, mechanical, or production environment.
Experience using a computer or tablet to input and save information.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Good work history with minimal gaps.
Diploma or GED equivalent.Work Environment
Our Chemical Manufacturing Operations Plant requires working both indoors and outdoors, so you must be willing to work in various weather conditions.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
