Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Supervise construction draws and track project accounting activities to maintain compliance and transparency.

• Collaborate with teams to ensure proper documentation and oversight of real estate project accounting.

• Develop and implement financial controls to optimize accounting procedures and mitigate risks.

• Prepare detailed financial analyses and reports to support decision-making processes.

• Monitor and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy across all financial records.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to perform advanced data analysis and reporting tasks.

• Provide guidance and support to the accounting team to maintain high performance and productivity.

• Assist in budgeting and forecasting to align financial goals with organizational objectives.

• Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and best practices.• Proven experience in month-end close processes and financial reporting.

• Strong knowledge of project accounting, particularly in real estate or construction sectors.

• Expertise in real estate project accounting, including construction draws and cost tracking.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach.

• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively across departments.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.

• CPA designation or equivalent certification is preferred but not required.
