Logistics Specialist

Duties Include, but not limited to:

• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/SAP, ensuring compliance with supply specifications, minimizing stockouts, and ensuring on-time deliveries;

• Develop and implement efficient logistics strategies, coordinating shipments, transportation scheduling, and collaborating with carriers for timely, cost-effective deliveries;

• Negotiate transportation terms with providers, selecting freight carriers, setting schedules, and managing costs to ensure efficient operations;

• Coordinate shipments, streamline delivery schedules with suppliers, ensure compliance with regulations and select optimal carriers and transportation routes;

• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery timelines;

• Analyze logistics data to identify performance trends, track metrics, and provide actionable insights for continuous improvement;

• Maintain communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to resolve transportation, inventory, or production-related issues; and

• Ensure full compliance with logistics regulations, including accurate shipment documentation and maintaining records for audits and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred AND 1 year of exp.
