We are looking for an experienced Credit & Collections Manager to join our team in Overland Park, Kansas. In this role, you will oversee the management of accounts receivable processes, ensuring compliance with credit policies and driving strategic collections initiatives. This is a long-term contract position offering the opportunity to lead a dedicated team while collaborating with senior leadership to align collections strategies with organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the accounts receivable and collections team to ensure timely invoice collections, account reconciliation, and adherence to credit policies.

• Develop and monitor performance metrics for accounts receivable, including aging reports and collection targets, to support informed decision-making by executive leadership.

• Supervise and mentor senior collections analysts, providing training and development opportunities to both on-site and offshore teams.

• Collaborate with the Collections Supervisor to resolve chargebacks, manage held orders, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Implement process improvements within the order-to-cash cycle to optimize collections operations.

• Build strong relationships with sales and customer service teams to streamline transaction processes and address issues effectively.

• Manage key customer accounts and provide day-to-day support for collection activities.

• Act as a liaison between business functions to ensure seamless communication and workflow.

• Prepare and present detailed reports on collections performance to senior leadership.

• Drive compliance with credit policies and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 8–10 years of experience, with at least 5 years in collections management and progressive leadership roles.

• Proven ability to mentor and develop teams, including experience managing offshore and shared services staff.

• Familiarity with accounts receivable systems and reporting tools; expertise in B2B collections and CRM systems is strongly preferred.

• Experience in Consumer Products or retail-focused industries is a plus.

• Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking to drive process improvements and efficiencies.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, particularly in coordinating with sales and operations teams.

• Commitment to continuous improvement within the order-to-cash cycle.
