Job Title: Assistant Extrusion Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a mechanically inclined candidate to support our Extrusion Technician by ensuring the smooth operation of the extrusion line. The role involves setting up the line for continuous loading of raw materials and managing tasks at the end of the line.
Responsibilities
Assist with setting up the extrusion line to ensure continuous loading of raw materials.
Move and load materials required for specified jobs.
Prepare the extrusion line for running jobs and set up designated packaging.
Follow all required process documentation.
Unload and pack finished goods from the line.
Climb ladders to load materials and handle containers weighing up to 35 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs infrequently.Essential Skills
Machine operation experience, particularly in extrusion and molding.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read and write English.
Understanding of safety policies in the manufacturing industry.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Previous manufacturing experience.
Ability to utilize basic measuring devices.
Extrusion experience is a significant advantage.Work Environment
The workplace has undergone recent renovations and expansions, including a new addition to the building. Facilities are modern, including a comfortable cafeteria. The company is adding another extrusion line and is in the process of relocating a line to the new addition. The role includes both day and night shifts.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
