Job Title: Business Development Representative

Location: Pennsauken, New Jersey

We're looking for a high-energy and results-oriented Business Development Representative (BDR) to join a rapidly growing team in the packaging industry. In this role, you'll be on the front lines of identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue through consultative selling. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys connecting innovation with customer success.

Skills we are looking for:

Lead Generation & Prospecting: You're skilled at identifying and qualifying leads through research, outreach, and strategic follow-up.

Client Engagement:You know how to initiate meaningful conversations, nurture relationships, and build trust through consistent and thoughtful communication-whether over the phone, through email, or in person.

Consultative Selling: You take the time to understand client needs and tailor packaging solutions that solve real business challenges.

Territory Ownership: You're comfortable managing a regional pipeline and traveling within the NJ/PA/DE area to grow accounts and create new ones.

CRM & Organization: You're comfortable using tools like Salesforce or HubSpot to manage your pipeline, track activity, and drive deals forward.

Industry Awareness: You stay on top of packaging trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics to bring valuable insight to every client interaction.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting and lead qualification.

Build and maintain relationships with potential customers across various communication channels.

Present tailored packaging solutions that align with client goals and solve operational challenges.

Manage your sales pipeline and update all activity in the CRM system for accuracy and visibility.

Collaborate with internal sales and marketing teams to convert qualified leads into revenue.

Stay current with market trends, industry developments, and the competitive landscape.

Travel locally within the Tri-State area (NJ, PA, DE) to attend meetings, client visits, and industry events Qualifications

1-5 years of B2B sales or client-facing experience (packaging industry experience is a plus).

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

Proven ability to build relationships and close deals.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-first mindset.

Self-starter with a proactive, entrepreneurial attitude.

Comfortable with CRM systems and common sales enablement tools.

Ability to travel within assigned territory. Compensation & benefits.
