TMB, Inc is seeking candidates for a Model Based Systems Engineer to support NAVSEA Acquisition Program Office Engineering Support Services requirements. This position is contingent upon the award of the PMS 406 contract. Responsibilities
Apply modeling to support a system’s or SoS’ requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation activities throughout the acquisition lifecycle phases.
Modeling architectures of complex systems.
Evaluate and compare alternative architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.Qualifications
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s degree.
Professional Engineer License is a plus.
Preferably experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering principles; the Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML), cross-platform collaborative MBSE/digital environments or equivalent, which provide tools to design, track, visualize, and analyze all aspects of systems in standard-compliant models and diagrams; the DoD Architecture Framework/Unified Architecture Framework (DoDAF/UAF).
Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess an active DOD Secret security clearance.
Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.
Ability to perform frequent internal and external customer interface including regularly scheduled and ad hoc meetings.
Ability to travel reasonable distances (up to mile one way) to meet with customers or other company personnel in the execution of job functions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds in order to carry a laptop, notebooks, papers, binders and other tools and equipment required in the execution of job functions.
