Full Stack Developer

Job Description

FocusKPI is looking for a Full Stack Developer to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.

As a Senior Fullstack Developer with a backend focus, you'll contribute to a high-impact business platform. Working within a collaborative team, you'll implement backend services, integrate systems, and build full-stack features using modern technologies. You'll work extensively with engineering teams across the organization, taking initiative to solve complex problems with available resources. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge technology, facilitates cross-functional collaboration, and enables meaningful contributions to a widely used enterprise platform.

Work Location: Remote - anywhere in the US

Duration: 12-month contract

Pay Range: $65/hr to $74/hr

Responsibilities:

Implement backend services and system integrations

Build full-stack features using React and Python

Collaborate across engineering teams to leverage existing services

Take initiative on creative problem-solving approaches

Maintain code quality and system performance

Qualifications:

4+ years full-stack experience with a backend focus

Proficient in Python, React, TypeScript, and gRPC

Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills

Experience with build systems and static type checking

Driven problem solver who works well independently and with strong initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with enterprise software or business application development

Background in performance optimization and scalability challenges

Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools

Experience with Bazel build system and Python type checking with Mypy

Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerization
