Intern - Software Engineer, After Sales

Job Description

Hyundai AutoEver America's HQ (Fountain Valley or Costa Mesa, depending on business unit) will be running a 12-week internship program from 06/24/2025 to 09/12/2025. Interns will be expected to work anywhere between 20 - 24 hours a week, not to exceed 30 hours a week.

Job Purpose:

We are looking for a motivated intern to join our software development team. The ideal candidate has experience or coursework in one or more of the following: Java, Python, or Node.js, and is familiar with relational (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL (MongoDB) databases. Exposure to AWS cloud services is a plus.

Essential Functions:

Assist in developing and testing backend services and APIs

Work with databases to design, query, and manage data

Support deployment and monitoring tasks in AWS

Collaborate with the team on design and code reviews

Basic Requirements:

Basic knowledge of software development lifecycle

Familiarity with Git and RESTful APIs

Willingness to learn and take on new challenges

Pay Range - $25.00 to $27.00/hour
