Execution Trader - MBS Fixed Income

Top Tier Investment Bank is looking for a Execution Trader - MBS Fixed Income to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to support the execution of long-term investment strategies and interest rate derivatives transactions in alignment with the organization's broader financial and risk management goals. This position plays a key role in managing the investment portfolio, supporting strategy development, and refining internal processes to enhance operational efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.

Minimum 3 years of trading experience, with a focus on MBS and Fixed Income products.

Solid understanding of fixed income markets, trade execution, and risk management principles.

Proficient in Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, and other relevant trading platforms.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience with Excel, Python or SQL is a plus.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Familiarity with TBA trading, specified pools, and agency MBS.

Knowledge of macroeconomic factors influencing fixed income markets.

This role will sit HYBRID out of Topeka, KS.
