Simulation analyst on Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) study efforts - from design to mission utility to procurement of future space and airborne systems. Fast paced environment working short term studies to support long term analysis efforts. Need to design studies and implement trade studies to demonstrate objectives.
Jacobs is looking for an analyst to perform high fidelity modeling and simulation of satellites, aircraft, and their ISR sensor suites for a variety of government and commercial customers. Tasks would involve:
Modeling various ISR systems
Need to design studies and implement trade studies to demonstrate objectives
Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) checks of simulation input and results
Analyzing large amounts of data
Prepare technical documentation and reports
Generating graphs and briefs to support study findings
Presenting findings to senior decision makers
Required:
TS/SCI clearance.
3+ years experience
Bachelors degree from an accredited college/university, in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Computer Science.
Willing to work on-site.
Proficiency with Python
Proficiency with Git and the Atlassian tool suite (Bitbucket, Jira, …)
Knowledge of GEOINT collection phenomenologies (RF, EOIR, SAR, …)
Knowledge of spacecraft orbits and attitudes
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
