Description:
Manages loan customers banking needs by assisting Loan Officers in the collection of financial information, submission of renewals and credit file maintenance. Responsible for management of collateral tracking and works with lenders to eliminate credit file exceptions. Provides backup assistance in the Retail Banking area as needed. Performs routine duties independently.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Update and maintain loan documentation using the document tracking software by collecting required file documentation, including tracking for annual reviews.
Monitor and eliminate credit file exceptions by communicating with Loan Officers, referencing reports, making phone calls, sending emails and customer letters.
Monitor both purchased and sold participations for interim and other documentation that is required per loan agreements and participation agreements.
Assist Loan Officers and Credit Analysts by providing necessary documentation/information to prepare for loan presentations.
Receive insurance notices, review changes to insurance, follow up with insurance company as necessary and alert loan officer to insurance cancellation.
Perform inspections and track completion progress for construction loans
Assist Loan Processors with imaging loan documents
Prepare internal real estate evaluations.
Order and track appraisals and environmental reports.
Provides additional financial services to customers by responding to customer questions with referrals to MBT Investment Department, Insurance Department, Personal Bankers, and other banking departments.
Provide backup to the retail area as necessary
Provides teamwork and support in all areas by assisting other customers and employees. Builds customer relationships by assisting in non-essential duties involving fairs, parades, and other bank activities as required.
Requirements:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s Degree in business or finance preferred
Experience:
Two or more years of banking or office experience
