About the Role:
We’re looking for a hands-on Engineering Manager to lead the product and process engineering teams at our Madison Heights facility. This plant focuses on manufacturing rubber and thermoplastic hose assemblies, fluid-transfer tubing, and gaskets—primarily for automotive and industrial applications. You’ll be in the middle of product development, process improvement, and day-to-day manufacturing support. This is a leadership role that requires someone who knows how to drive results, lead engineers, and work closely with production, quality, and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead a team of engineers focused on new product development, launch support, and
continuous improvement.
Oversee design and validation of hose assemblies, tubing, and sealing systems.
Work closely with customers (OEMs and Tier 1s) to meet technical specs and deadlines.
Own engineering documentation, testing, tooling, and process standardization.
Partner with plant leadership to solve production challenges and support OEE goals.
Drive cost reduction, efficiency, and automation initiatives.
Support APQP and PPAP processes for new programs.
What We are Looking For:
Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
5–10+ years in product or process engineering—automotive preferred.
Proven experience managing or mentoring engineers.
Solid knowledge of rubber/plastic hose, injection molding, or sealing products is a big plus.
Familiarity with CAD tools, DFMEA, control plans, and GD&T.
Able to manage customer interaction, timelines, and cross-functional teams.
