Job Description
Looking for a go-getter, someone that will be the Assistant to the Purchasing Manager. Must be detail oriented. energetic, self-starter and be able to multi-task in a fast passed distribution center environment.
This person will handle all the purchase order data entry into the SAP system; (shipping and receiving, container invoicing and logistics, and inventory analysis). They will be working with the Warehouse Manager as well to confirm all inventory that is coming in.
Hours: 8AM-430PM
Temp to fulltime hire
Daily tasks include (but are not limited to):
Inputting and following up on purchase orders into the system
Data entry of all shipments (scheduling containers of incoming and outgoing shipments)
Helping customers with inventory details
Filing paperwork and information management
Drafting Letters and Price Proposals
Keeping track of samples in inventory
Phone and email correspondence with vendors
Creating marketing materials
Other general office duties as needed
Qualifications:
Must have 3-5 yrs. experience with assisting in purchasing and procurement
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel
Experience with SAP or any other accounting software
Experience with Adobe Illustrator or Adobe Photoshop is plus
Must have excellent business letter writing skills and data entry skills
Must be willing to multitask and be a self-starter
Must type at least 60+ WPMCompany Description
