Equipment Operator I

We are currently accepting applications/resumes for an EXPERIENCED Equipment Operator I for the Houma, LA and surrounding areas.

Operate and maintain traffic and caution lights.

Perform minor maintenance on equipment and assist the electrical technician as needed.

Essential Functions: · Operate equipment effectively in all work required by division.

· Assist the electrical technician.

· Lubricate and perform minor maintenance on assigned equipment.

· Fill out daily reports and PM sheets.

· Perform preventative maintenance inspections on equipment.

· Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicle and shop/storage area.

· Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

General Requirements: • Possess basic computer skills to complete daily assignments.

• Read and write sufficiently to understand and carry out basic instructions • Learn and practice applicable safety rules and regulations.

Qualifications: · High school diploma or GED required.

· Required to work emergency events.

· Louisiana Driver’s License.

· Electrical Experience Perferred.
