Part-Time Accounts Receivables and Collections Specialist
***This is a hybrid on-site, flexible part-time position (20 hrs/week Mon-Fri between the hours of 8am-5pm) that will be based at our corporate headquarters in Newton, MA

About the Position
This position will work with our Finance team to verify the accuracy of payments received, ensure timely and accurate posting of payments, and following up on discrepancies and denials.
Primary duties consist of:
Posting payments to patient accounts and balancing to General Ledger.
Investigating and resolving unpaid medical claims, including speaking with insurance carriers and patients.
Account reconciliation.
Excel data entry and Excel reporting.
Manage multiple datasets across numerous platforms, portals, and systems.
Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma.
1-year experience in medical collections and/or billing.
Good Microsoft Office skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Bachelors degree preferred in business, finance, or other related field.
