Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Director of IT & Systems to lead the technology infrastructure across our expanding restaurant and corporate operations. This leadership role will be responsible for developing and executing IT strategy, managing systems integration, ensuring data security, and supporting multi-unit operations with scalable technology solutions. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with restaurant technologies and thrives in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

IT Infrastructure & Support

Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure across corporate and restaurant locations, including POS, networking, and back-office systems.

Ensure 24/7 uptime and provide timely troubleshooting support to operations teams.

Lead helpdesk initiatives and system reliability programs.

Systems Implementation & Integration

Manage system rollouts and technology upgrades, ensuring smooth implementation across units.

Ensure seamless integration between platforms such as POS, Restaurant365, HRIS, and inventory management.

Develop scalable technology processes to support geographic and unit expansion.

Data Security & Compliance

Design and enforce data security protocols for customer, employee, and corporate data.

Implement robust backup procedures, access control, and disaster recovery systems.

Ensure compliance with data protection and cybersecurity regulations.

Vendor & Partner Management

Oversee all IT vendors, software providers, and hardware contractors.

Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

Continuously evaluate new technology partners to enhance business operations, finance, and marketing.

Reporting & Analytics

Support business functions (Finance, HR, Operations) with data infrastructure that enables actionable insights.

Maintain data accuracy and integrity across systems.

Assist leadership in identifying trends and operational efficiencies through robust reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

7+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, preferably in hospitality or restaurant environments.

Proficiency with restaurant technologies such as:

POS platforms (e.g., Toast, Aloha)

Accounting systems (e.g., Restaurant365)

HRIS and scheduling tools (e.g., ADP, HotSchedules)

Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.

Hands-on, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally in a high-growth environment.
