The CNC Operator is responsible for running all of the CNC and Edge banding machinery. To be successful the operator must be able to effectively communicate with design engineers and cabinet makers who will be part of production team manufacturing custom cabinetry.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (include, but not limited to):

Read and comprehend detailed dimensioned drawings

Must be able to accurately read a tape measure to verify part is correct

Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto machine

Analyze and replace dull cutting tools

Record length and service of each router bit

Comply with all safety rules and regulations

Follow quality procedures and guidelines

Perform daily maintenance requirements

Educational and Skill Requirements:

Proficiency in CNC and Edge banding machine operation, wood and laminate cutting experience required

Ability to interpret cabinet shop drawings

Experience in woodworking and production processes.

Basic computer skills

Must be an effective listener

Knowledge of standard machine shop practices

Must be self-motivated with strong organizational skills, hands on, detail oriented – excellent time management skills

Excellent English written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision as well as in a team environment

Mechanical aptitude to assist in other departments as needed.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds infrequently

Ability to spend significant time on feet and in motion

Telephone system

CNC router

Manufacturing and ancillary cabinetry machinery

Work Schedule:

4/10 shift schedule

Ability to work flexible hours, with additional overtime as needed

· Manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

· Conduct revisions based on client or production feedback.

Qualifications

· 2+ years of experience using Cabinet Vision in a professional setting

· Strong knowledge of cabinetry construction methods and materials

· Excellent attention to detail

· Strong communication skills for client and team interaction
