SALARY: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

SHIFT: 8 hour day shifts. Weeks, holidays, overtime and call-ins as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop, program, and troubleshoot PLC-based control systems (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) accurately and in a timely manner.

Design and implement HMI (Human-Machine Interface) screens for operator interaction.

Interpret electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and technical specifications.

Conduct system testing, validation, and commissioning of new programs.

Modify existing PLC programs to improve efficiency, safety, and performance.

Maintain comprehensive documentation for code, wiring diagrams, and system configurations.

Assist in the development of programming standards and library functions.

Provide technical support and training to maintenance and operations personnel.

Ensure compliance with relevant safety and industry standards (e.g., NFPA 70E, IEC, ISO).

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and automation upgrades.

Cross-train with electrical planner to schedule work and provide coverage.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

High school Diploma or GED required.

2+ years of experience in PLC programming in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

Proficiency in programming software such as Wonderware, RSLogix 5, RsLogix 500, RsLogix5000/Studio 5000, PCS 7, WinCC, etc.

Experience with SCADA systems, motion control, and industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).

Knowledge of SAP.

Strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.

Willingness to provide support with programming issues outside of regularly scheduled hours.
