GRC seeking a part-time detail-oriented Patient Accounts Representative to join our healthcare team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical office procedures and excellent communication skills to interact with patients and insurance companies effectively.

Duties:

- Manage patient accounts by processing billing statements, payments, and insurance claims

- Utilize medical billing software to update patient records and financial information

- Answer patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance coverage, and payment options

- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate coding and billing practices

- Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations

- Assist with administrative tasks at the front desk as needed

Experience:

- Proficiency in medical terminology and medical office procedures

- Familiarity with phone systems and patient service best practices

- Experience using Word and Excel and similar medical billing software

- Previous work in a front desk or medical administrative support role is preferred

- Knowledge of medical records management and medical receptionist duties
