Key Responsibilities:
Move vehicles within the dealership lot, including customer trade-ins and service vehicles, ensuring they are properly parked.
Assist in organizing and maintaining the dealership lot, ensuring it is clean, safe, and free of debris.
Perform vehicle checks and assist with vehicle inspections as directed by service advisors or technicians.
Ensure vehicles are ready for delivery and customer pickup.
Coordinate with service and sales departments to ensure vehicles are delivered and available for customers on time.
Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of vehicle display areas.
Help with washing vehicles and maintaining the cleanliness of the service shop and customer-facing areas.
Assist with inventory management by helping move vehicles to and from designated areas.
Perform minor maintenance on the dealership grounds and lot, including snow removal, if necessary.
Provide assistance with vehicle transportation to and from service appointments as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a lot porter or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Positive attitude, team player, and strong communication skills.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
