Role Description:

At CoStar Group, our finance group centralizes transaction processes, providing accurate reporting, financial resolutions, and proper forecasting analysis. Joining the team offers access to financial specializations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and asset management, client contracts and billing, and revenue recognition.

The Oracle Cloud Functional Resource is responsible for the Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) system and integrations, with specific focus on Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P) processes. This is a hands-on functional position responsible for the design, configuration, and deployment of Oracle Cloud Financial modules to support business operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Responsibilities:

Lead the Functional Workstream of Oracle Cloud R2R and P2P implementation projects as part of the larger implementation team

Understand all existing Oracle Cloud ERP Fusion services/capabilities/configurations for General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Cash Management, and related financial modules

Expert understanding of both standard Oracle Cloud R2R and P2P functional capabilities as well as the chosen/configured and enhanced capabilities made part of the CoStar implementation

Support the Oracle Cloud ERP Technical Workstream Lead as it relates to integrations and other CEMLI objects

Recommend best practices in leveraging Oracle ERP technology to meet day-to-day business needs as well as scaling and automating for volume and growth

Provide significant input/guidance into the planning and leadership in the implementation of Oracle R2R processes including General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Financial Reporting, and Accounting Hub

Lead P2P implementation including Procurement, Accounts Payable, Supplier Management, and Expense Management modules

Lead project team members as well as share individual subject matter expertise

Perform International Oracle implementation in both P2P and R2R.

Perform a wide array of tasks, including leading strategic meetings with project stakeholders through very tactical hands-on implementation tasks

Participate and provide guidance in general project efforts such as business analysis, system design, business process re-engineering, quality assurance and change management

Gather business requirements through business process workshops and document detailed requirements for client approval

Conduct Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and coordinate User Acceptance Testing

Develop/Validate unit test scripts and functional design documents

Provide Go-Live preparation, cut-over support, end-user training as needed and post-production support

Work with Oracle to resolve service requests and technical issues

Act as primary point of contact for clients and effectively communicate with stakeholders throughout project lifecycle

Collaborate with offshore functional and technical teams as needed for all project deliverables

Basic Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or Engineering from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College

A track record of commitment to prior employers

10+ years of experience as Oracle Functional consultant with specific expertise in R2R and P2P processes

6+ years direct hands-on experience implementing Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) – General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Procurement, Cash Management, Expenses, and Accounting Hub on a global scale

At least 5+ Oracle Cloud Financials end-to-end implementations, working as Financials track lead

Prior implementation experience (prefer two cycles) of Oracle Cloud ERP (Fusion) R2R and P2P modules

Experience with defining requirements for Oracle Integration Cloud Service (OIC) integrations

Experience with Financial Reporting Studio and BI Publisher

Experience testing ERP application instances to successfully validate application setups, including input to test plans, test scenarios, and test scripts

Experience with data conversions and ERP integrations (such as Workday, Concur, legacy AP systems) to Oracle applications

Experience operating in an IT Controls / SOX environment

Strong consulting experience and business analytical skills to gather and document business requirements, leading fit-gap analysis, business process designs, managing conference room pilots (CRPs)

Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments

Previous experience working in IT companies or professional services firms

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA, or relevant master's degree

CPA certification or equivalent strongly preferred

Relevant Oracle specialist certifications strongly preferred

Strong finance business process experience and acumen with R2R and P2P cycles

Wide range of accounting experiences such as Chart of accounts redesign, proven financial reporting experience and Multi Org / Multi Currency experience.

Experience implementing Oracle for International Countries (UK/Europe/Australia/Japan etc.)

The ability to develop creative and breakthrough solutions to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles

Ability to articulate and clearly communicate complex problems and solutions in a simple, logical and impactful manner

Knowledge of EPM products (Planning/ARM/FCCS) is a plus.

Strong knowledge of and experience addressing a broad range of accounting matters, ensuring processing in compliance with established internal controls

Analytical approach with the ability to correctly grasp and communicate data as well as analyze and reconcile accounts

Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with the appropriate discretion

Display initiative with limited direction and ability to lead teams

Excellent organization, presentation, and communication skills

Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations at a high growth company

Be goal-oriented and manage multiple responsibilities, adjust to changing priorities and excel in a fast-paced environment

Ability to work within a team environment as well as an individual contributor
