Math & Technology Exploratory Teacher

Position Overview: HVMS is seeking a dynamic and innovative educator to join our team as a Math & Technology Exploratory Teacher for grades 4–7.

This position offers a unique opportunity to design and deliver engaging, project-based learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about integrating mathematics, technology, and real-world problem-solving to support the development of our students’ Portrait of a Learner competencies—such as adaptability, collaboration, communication, and self-directed learning.

Key Responsibilities: Design and facilitate interdisciplinary, exploratory courses that integrate math and technology through hands-on, project-based learning experiences.

Inspire students to see themselves as mathematicians, engineers, and creative problem-solvers through engaging and authentic learning tasks.

Collaborate with grade-level and specialist teams to connect learning experiences across subjects and support school-wide initiatives.

Use student-centered instructional strategies that honor diverse learning styles and backgrounds.

Create a classroom culture that encourages risk-taking, resilience, and reflection.

Embed digital tools and platforms to enhance learning and support the development of digital literacy.

Assess student learning through authentic, formative, and performance-based measures.
