Job Purpose
The Manager of Emergency Management is responsible for the coordination and implementation of emergency preparedness with 24/7 oversight of incident and event response. He/she coordinates operations, supply management and training exercises with the coalition to ensure an organized response during a disaster. Serves as primary point of contact for the Department of Public Health, overseeing all external emergency preparedness functions and supporting internal planning and preparedness within Piedmont Columbus Regional
MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor’s degree from a recognized college or university in industrial safety or other related field preferred
Master’s degree from a recognized college or university in healthcare or other related field preferred
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Work experience in Emergency Management. Experience with DNV and the Joint Commission Environment of Care standards, the Emergency Management standards and the survey process.
