The Controls Engineer will be part of a Controls team responsible for the ideation, development, and implementation of state-of-the-art automated solutions with a first and best-to-market mindset focused on efficiency, safety, and capacity. They will also work on special projects such as development and improvement.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure the MES system is functional for production.
Work on improvement projects with controls of equipment and MES.
Work with Elec Tech's in maintenance to ensure uptime.
Work with supervisors and other Engineers to problem solve. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
Related work experience
Experience with maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent analytical, problem solving and leadership skills.

Clearly and effectively present ideas and problem solutions to department heads and plant management.
Analyze operations, processes, and manufacturing sequences to make improvements and reduce operating time and cost.
Develop requests for approval of expenditures - capital, expense, and purchase requisitions.
