SUMMARY

Detail-oriented and proactive Master Scheduler to oversee the creation, maintenance and analysis of project schedules throughout the entire project lifecycle-from sales forecasting and project planning to production and final delivery. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in reviewing resources, building executable schedules and balancing stakeholder expectations to ensure seamless execution and on-time delivery of projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Support sales with schedule inputs for customer proposals, bids, and strategic planning.

Develop comprehensive schedules for all phases of a project including pre-sales, planning, execution, production and delivery.

Work closely with sales, project management, engineering, certification, ODA, operations and logistics teams to gather input and build/refine realistic, achievable schedules.

Continuously coordinate with operations and planning to review/update ready-to-work and work-in-progress items.

Maintain master schedules that reflect actual progress, upcoming milestones and critical path activities utilizing theory of constraints and critical chain.

Act as a liaison between departments to ensure schedule alignment and facilitate a smooth transition between sales, program management and production.

Identify potential scheduling conflicts or resource constraints and proactively develop mitigation strategies with program management and applicable departments.

Monitor progress against baseline schedules and recommend schedule adjustments to address delays or changes in scope.

Provide regular updates, dashboard metrics and reporting on schedule status, variances and forecasts to internal stakeholders and leadership.

Work closely with the functional teams to understand issues and how they impact the schedule.

Communicate key dates, risks and dependencies to all relevant stakeholders in a timely and clear manner.

Continuously improve enterprise scheduling processes and workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy.

Complete initial and recurrent training requirements in a timely manner.

Other duties as assigned or approved by manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.

Two years minimum in a scheduling or project planning role, preferably in a aerospace manufacturing, engineering or project-based environment.

Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft office suite.

Knowledge of scheduling methodologies and earned value management (EVM) preferred.

Demonstrates strong analytical thinking, with a proactive sense of ownership and accountability.

Team-oriented with a proactive and solution-driven mindset; highly organized with keen attention to detail.

Proficient in project scheduling tools and software. (Microsoft Project)

Strong analytical skills with the ability to forecast and solve problems.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Read, write, and understand the English language.

Ability to read, write, analyze and interpret technical procedures and manuals.
