Description:

Your new role and environment.

Our Engineering enablement department has a purpose to accelerate our teams worldwide, so they can deliver quality customer value faster and autonomously. We provide this enablement power through technical platforms, Cloud, technical paved roads and DevSecOps tooling.

As a DevOps Engineer within our department, you contribute directly to building a state-of-the-art self-service ecosystem of products and automation. A mission you will not take on solo, but as a full-fledged member of the team. You will work with users and maintainers throughout the whole organization to fit your ideas into the bigger picture. Accelerate our product teams, so we can deliver quality customer value faster and autonomous.

Key responsibilities of your role.

Designing, implementing, and managing our Kubernetes-as-a-Service (KaaS), ensuring that business requirements are met regarding high availability, scalability and security.

Performing upgrades and patch management for AKS clusters.

Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Pulumi.

Designing and maintaining Helm charts and YAML to deploy workloads via ArgoCD to Kubernetes.

Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Document, support and advise how to make optimal use of our platform.

Be able to run standby shifts. 24/7 on call.

What’s in it for you?

We ask a lot. (We’re looking for the best, after all). But we offer a lot, too.

So, what do we have in store for you? We offer flexible hours and a hybrid working model, allowing you to work both from home and at the office. We provide competitive benefits to support health, well-being and your professional growth. This includes: a significant budget on benefit platform and a yearly bonus. At AD01 we welcome everyone, just the way you are, and encourage individual growth with valuable opportunities and a worldwide across-brand network.

Requirements.

We think you’ll be best geared for success if you can meet the following requirements:

Around 3-5 years of experience working with Kubernetes.

Bachelor's degree with IT component or relevant experience.

Have a fail fast mentality and loves to collaborate with colleagues at all levels.

Eager to embrace innovative technologies.

Experience with the following technologies: Kubernetes, Azure, Helm, ArgoCD, networking stack and git.

Preferably a developer background, does not matter what language.

Bonus if you have experience with: Cilium, Kyverno, Grafana/Prometheus, GitHub actions.

It goes without saying that so-called ‘soft skills’ are just as important as their ‘hard’ cousins. We highly value:

Experience working within a matrix-style structure with international teams.

Provide hands-on, expert level technical assistance to developers.

Be flexible, reliable and have a true hands-on mentality.

Strong organizational skills.

Team player; involves others, shares knowledge and seeks opportunities for cross functional working and collaboration.

Creative; identifies solutions and selects the best combination of practices by taking an innovative approach to problem solving.

Builds trust with colleagues, clients & vendors.

Must be results oriented; demonstrates a “can-do” attitude – adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness.

Adaptable to situations and different/multicultural environments.

Excellent command of the English language both written & spoken.
