CNC Machinist

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a CNC Machinist to join their team. As a CNC Machinist, you will be part of a dynamic production environment supporting various machining operations. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machinist

Location: Mount Vernon, IL

Pay Range: $24 - $27 per hour

What's the Job?

Program, set up, operate, and reassemble CNC machines.

Utilize Mastercam or Conversational programs for machining tasks.

Work with steel and other materials to produce high-quality components.

Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards during operations.

Collaborate with team members to improve machining processes.

What's Needed?

One year of programming experience with Mastercam or Conversational programs.

Ability to program, set up, operate, and reassemble CNC machines.

Preference for candidates with experience working with steel.

Willingness to undergo a drug screen (oral screen acceptable, does not test for THC).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
