The Role

We are seeking a Solutions Analyst to act as a key liaison between customers, sales, community relations, product, and development teams. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering product demonstrations, scoping customer needs, and managing functional escalations. You will also play a crucial role in product management, collaborating on new enhancements and releases, monitoring JIRA tasks, and helping to establish best practices while training the team.

Role Specifics

Work Location: Remote (US)

Travel: Up to 25% (The percent of travel is an estimation, and it could vary up or down based on business needs throughout the year.)

Compensation Structure: In addition to the base salary listed below, this role is eligible for a bonus/commission plan.

Reporting Structure: Reports to the Solutions Manager, North America.

What You Will Own

Provide detailed product demonstrations and presentations to both prospective and current customers, utilizing industry best practices and aligning solutions with customer needs and pain points

Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements, support sales efforts, and ensure the proposed solutions meet customer needs

Deliver technical, cloud, and integration presentations, while also training and mentoring the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services

Serve as a resource for answering technical and product-related questions, both internally and externally, ensuring smooth communication across teams

Continuously study regional, industry, and customer-specific trends to tailor solutions and stay updated on challenges, especially in the prop-tech space

Assist with scoping processes, particularly as on-premise customers transition to cloud-based solutions, and provide support to the sales team on product assessments and scoping needs

Monitor Jira tasks (CA/CD/TECHHELP) and collaborate with product teams on scoping, assessments, and setting priorities for customer requests and product changes

Contribute to the effectiveness of the sales engineering team by identifying process improvements and taking on additional duties as required by business needs

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience with the StarRez product as a Power User

3+ years of experience working in/with student housing and/or higher education

Strong focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines while working proactively and independently

Proven ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with stakeholders and customers, with excellent listening and communication skills

Detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage competing demands, and maintain productivity under pressure

Ability to understand customer needs, translate them into actionable solutions, and take ownership of company procedures and responsibilities
