We're Hiring: Administrative Assistant – Fleet / Shop / Yard

Location: Abilene, TX

Pay Range: $15 – $20/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Join the team behind some of Texas' most critical highway safety work. We're looking for a motivated and detail-driven Administrative Assistant to support our Fleet, Shop, and Yard operations. If you enjoy working behind the scenes to keep field teams running efficiently - and you're great with spreadsheets, tech tools, and communication - this could be the role for you.What You'll Do:

Support daily operations for the Fleet, Shop, and Yard departments.

Track vehicle and equipment maintenance schedules and status.

Assist with purchase orders, parts tracking, and equipment documentation.

Maintain inventory and yard records.

Schedule and document inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance.

Enter data and generate reports using Excel and internal software.

Communicate with vendors and field teams as needed.What We're Looking For:

Prior experience in an administrative, fleet, or shop support role preferred.

Intermediate Excel skills (formulas, filters, formatting, etc.).

Comfort with computers, tablets, and digital systems.

Excellent communication, organizational, and follow-through skills.
